Food and grocery delivery platform Zomato is planning to hire 800 people across functions, its founder Deepinder Goyal said on LinkedIn.This comes close on the heels of layoffs in companies across sectors. In fact, Zomato laid off nearly 3% of its staff two months ago, terming it a "regular performance-based churn". Some of the job openings mentioned now in Goyal’s post include Chief of Staff to CEO, Generalist, Growth Manager, and Software Development engineer.
