[ Kubra ] Based on the novel by Afsin Kum, the show follows Gokhan, a former soldier living in the suburbs of Istanbul, trying to pull his life together to marry the love of his life.

His ordinary life gets disrupted when he starts receiving messages from Kubra through a religious online platform that he is part of. Kubra gives him intel and warnings on things that nobody knows about, including unexpected events. In time, Gokhan starts believing that God has chosen him to communicate. Like a messiah, we witness Gokhan's journey of becoming a leader to the believers and making enemies of people who believe this situation is deeper than it seems.
