For iPhone X, iPhone 11, iPhone 12, and later models:

Step 1. Press and hold the side button along with either the volume up or down button until you see the power off slider on the screen.

Step 4. Once the iPhone is completely turned off, press and hold the side button again until you see the Apple logo, indicating that the device is restarting.
