Amul examples-of-great-marketing

How Amul marketed it's Butter Cookies on social media.
Amul is known for its good marketing ideas, from the advertisements using their mascot- Amul girl, to creating the famous ice-cream vs frozen dessert stir among its competitors.
The advertisement of its butter cookies on social media is nothing less than a genius.
So, Amul, a market leader in dairy and dairy products in India decided to launch it's Butter cookies in India
Now, Amul may face a lot of competition, as India already has mammoth number of competitors in the biscuits and cookies section, so what does it decide to do?

Amul created demand among its target audience with just a post on its twitter account.
Amul is an undisputed leader in butter market with around 85% market share in India. What better way to use this to their advantage and enter an entirely new section of market.
Well played Amul!

Edit 2:
While a lot of people are now disgusted by the fact that their biscuits contain vegetable oil, I would say that the proportion of vegetable oil is maintained as per the quality standards by fssai.
Biscuits by most brands use vegetable oils. It has been the norm in the market until Amul came up with its unique differentiation in its product.
Which is well, working just right for Amul.

I hope to understand the "Amul example of great marketing

Thanks for Visting!!
